Teenager Marcus Rashford came to the rescue of Manchester United yet again as his first half goal gave the Red Devils a priceless derby win over bitter rivals Manchester City.

A closely fought Manchester derby ended up being decided by a resident Mancunian, as 18 year old Marcus Rashford proved to be the toast of the red side of Manchester once again.

Rashford’s 16th minute goal was enough to give Manchester United a 1-0 victory and hand them a much needed boost to their top four ambitions. United are now just a point behind Manchester City who are currently in the fourth place.

Rashford collected a precise Juan Mata pass, took it past a sliding Martin Demichelis and beat Joe Hart to put United in the lead and score what turned out to be the only goal of the match.
