Bayern Munich reigned supreme in the clash between two European giants, as they went through to the Champions League quarter-finals after two extra-time goals helped them beat Juventus on aggregate.
Bayern Munich found themselves trailing 2-0 at home against I Bianconeri, as Paul Pogba and Juan Cuadrado put Juventus in the driving seat. However, late goals from Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller took the tie to extra time, and another couple of goals from Thiago Alcantara and Kingsley Coman ensured that the Bavarians qualified for the quarter-finals.
French winger Kingsley Coman is on loan at Bayern from Juventus, and came back to haunt the Italian side on Wednesday. Coman had the last word in the match, scoring a lovely solo goal with a precise finish after a piercing run.
