Fans Walk Out, Liverpool FC Capitulate: Twitter Reacts As Sunderland Snatch A Draw At Anfield

Liverpool fans at Anfield staged one of the biggest modern day protests in football, as they left Anfield in the 77th minute to raise their voice against a dramatic increase in ticket prices. Interestingly, after they left, the Reds went from being 2-0 up to ending up with a 2-2 draw.

Relegation battling Sunderland managed to gather a much needed point from their visit to Merseyside. But the story of the evening was the fan protest at Anfield, where they walked out in the 77th minute to protest against the sharp rise in ticket prices that was earlier announced by the club.
