Twitter went into overdrive following the entertaining 3-3 draw between Liverpool FC and Arsenal FC, with fans of both sides hailing their attackers.
Goals from Liverpool FC’s Roberto Firmino (2) & Joe Allen, and Arsenal FC’s Aaron Ramsey & Olivier Giroud (2) ensured that the fans got their money’s worth in a wonderful night of attacking football at Anfield.
Roberto Firmino and Olivier Giroud, in particular, were at the forefront of the praise by their fans for their contribution on the eventful night.
Firmino once again shines against top tier opponents as the main front man. And some media outlets call it a gamble. Laughable.

We might not ever get to see it, but Firmino off Sturridge is a rampage waiting to happen.

Mentioned it in September, and insisting since — playing Rob Firmino as a False 9 may bring the best out of him. Ticks all the attributes.

Olivier Giroud is an extremely underrated player. His intelligent movement and finishing are exceptional. He'll always score plenty of goals

What is Giroud on? Dude is running at the same tempo in the 90th minute as in the first. A true physical monster, unreal season.

I genuinely can't understand why Giroud gets as much stick as he does….he's been magnificent tonight

The defence though, did not cover itself in glory. Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet in particular, would want to forget the night quickly, and the Liverpool FC fans let him know exactly that.
A game against United is no time for #LFC to risk a goalkeeper unproven at the top level. So Mignolet definitely shouldn't play Sunday.

Another poor performance by Mignolet you say. We should've won you say. Disappointing but yet encouraging. We did play the league leaders..
— Viktor Fagerström (@ViktorFagerLFC) January 13, 2016
If Mignolet deserves a 5 year contract I deserve a 10 year contract. I work harder collecting pressing stats FFS.

Anyone care to add up how many points Mignolet has directly cost us this season?

Bashing aside, most people did enjoy the brilliant game.
The last 10 PL games at Anfield between Liverpool and Arsenal have produced 41 goals – 4.1 per game on average #LFCvAFC

Cracking game of football that. Seems nobody wants to take the PL title by the scruff of the neck. #LFCvAFC
