Juventus might be on their way to sign Didier Drogba once the transfer window for January opens. After the Ivorian striker left English shores, 
Juventus did try to sign him but due to difference in the length of the contract offered, the negotiations stalled. However, according to recent news, Juventus is re-negotiating with Drogba and it looks like the former Chelsea man might be on his way to Turin on a 18-month contract. While rumours of his fallout with Shanghai Shenhua administration have been all over the news in the past couple of months, it looks like Drogba is prepared to take a pay cut and also a shorter contract in order to play Champions League football once more. While this news will indeed delight the Bianconeri faithful, it remains to be seen how successful he will be mid-season.
Elsewhere, Robinho continues to be linked with a move to Santos. The rumours initially started when he was sidelined due to injury and hence found his way back into the first team a much more difficult task than he had anticipated. However, with his recovery and immediate effect for Milan, both while scoring goals and setting them up, Robinho looks to have lowered his stance for a move to his native place. Santos was the place where he started his journey and even though he spent sometime there on loan when he was unsettled with Manchester City, it is unlikely that Robinho will shut all doors to Milan. After all, it was Milan who welcomed him with open arms and helped him rebuild his career. Santos have made a formal offer for Robinho and it remains to be seen if Milan will finally cash him in.
In other news, Hugo Campagnaro, the Napoli defender is in the eye of the tug-of-war between Juventus and Internazionale. Campagnaro’s contract is set to expire after this season and there has been little or almost no talks about a contract extension. Given these circumstances, both Juventus and Inter looks eager to snap up the former Sampdoria man. However, with rumours of his move becoming apparent by the day, Napoli has turned their eyes on Johan Djourou, who has found little game-time this season for Arsenal.
