Finn Jeltsch has massive Premier League interest, with Liverpool and Arsenal among his admirers, as Stuttgart set a strong price tag.
According to Sports Boom, Finn Jeltsch could be the next big German talent to move to the Premier League amid interest from Liverpool and Arsenal. Stuttgart are aware of the admiration in the market, which could see them set a strong asking price in the region of €30–35 million.
Arsenal and Liverpool are among the teams with a strong long-term strategy. These are clubs prepared to invest in talents they can develop further. Defence has been a key area for both sides to strengthen, and they have now added top German talent Finn Jeltsch to their shortlist.
The Stuttgart defender is enjoying a terrific season, having already surpassed his 12 Bundesliga appearances tally from last season. This time around, Jeltsch has played 17 times in the league and a further 12 times across all competitions.
The 19-year-old has already been compared to Mats Hummels in terms of what he brings to a team. The high intensity of the Premier League could suit his talents, with Liverpool and Arsenal among the clubs keen to add strength in depth at the back.
Liverpool recently agreed a deal for Jeremy Jacquet and, despite the significant outlay, they may still be ready to invest more in their defensive set-up. Arsenal have also acquired talents such as Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie to add to their formidable defensive unit, but Mikel Arteta could still be interested in Jeltsch, given the experience he already has under his belt.
Stuttgart to sell Finn Jeltsch?
Stuttgart would preferably want to keep Jeltsch for at least another season, but will be alert to any offers coming in from the Premier League. The German side will reportedly demand at least €30–35 million, and that price may not deter Arsenal or Liverpool.
Jeltsch could be a smart signing for either club. Liverpool could continue building a young core to succeed the likes of Virgil van Dijk in the long run. Arsenal believe in keeping competition fresh and are not afraid to invest in another young defender.
