Tottenham, West Ham United in transfer tussle to sign Mateo Pellegrino

Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Nottingham Forest could battle it out for the services of Parma attacker Mateo Pellegrino.

According to Parma Live, Mateo Pellegrino could be heading to the Premier League as Tottenham, West Ham, and Nottingham are all keen on his signature. The three English clubs will continue to monitor him and could enter into a bidding war for him next summer.

Pellegrino’s Parma move

Pellegrino came up the ranks at Velez Sarsfield and made quite a name for himself before joining the Italian club at the start of 2025 for just €2 million. But the Argentine club do hold 50% of his future sales.

However, it can still be considered a massive bargain as his value has already soared through the sky. Since joining Parma, the 23-year-old striker has been involved in a total of 20 games and has contributed towards nine goals.

Pellegrino has had a sensational start to the new season as he has scored five goals in his seven outings. His impressive performances and massive potential have put him on the radar of multiple top clubs from across Europe.

Pellegrino could Parma next summer

Quite a few clubs were keen on signing him during the summer, and if reports are to be believed, Parma turned down offers in excess of €15 million. He is considered to be valued at around €30 million, and it is going up with every passing game, given his recent form.

While Parma have no intentions of negotiating his departure in the summer, they can surely consider the right financial offers next summer. Tottenham, West Ham and Nottingham could all make moves for him in a year’s time.

The Premier League clubs have their eyes set on the 23-year-old, and they will continue to monitor him during this season ahead of a potential move. While it will make a massive financial offer, all three clubs can afford to meet Parma’s demands if the player is a perfect fit for their project.

Spurs are seeking more depth and competition in the final third, and Pellegrino could certainly help their cause. At the same time, he would have the opportunity to compete for a starting spot at Nottingham or West Ham. A move to England could be tempting, but he will need to carefully assess the role on offer, as it could prove crucial for his development as a player.
