Manchester United willing to pay €70-80 million to sign Nico Paz

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing 20-year-old Argentine international Nico Paz from Como 1907 in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Manchester United face competition from Chelsea, Tottenham, and Real Madrid for Nico Paz. The highly-rated midfielder registered 15 goal contributions last season, and he is highly rated across Europe. He could develop into a top-class player with proper guidance.

The report claims that Manchester United would be willing to pay around €70-80 million to sign the former Real Madrid midfielder. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. The talented young midfielder has a bright future, and he could be tempted to join a big club.

Manchester United would present a huge step up for him and give him the opportunity to test himself in the Premier League. Although the €70-80 million fee would be considerable, Nico Paz has the quality to justify the investment.

Chelsea could also use a player like him and have their sights set on the youngster; they need more cutting edge in the final third, and the 20-year-old would help create opportunities and break down deep defences. Chelsea have been heavily dependent on Cole Palmer for creativity in the final third and require additional support in the final third.

Tottenham and Real Madrid are interested in Nico Paz

Tottenham, on the other hand, are dealing with an injury to James Maddison and need a replacement; the Argentine midfielder could be ideal. However, the Lilywhites have failed with a bid to sign the Argentine international.

As for Real Madrid, it will be interesting to see if they bring back their former academy graduate. The chance to return to his boyhood club could be exciting for Paz. The youngster will feel he has unfinished business at Real Madrid, having made just eight appearances for the club, and will aim to establish himself as a key player if he returns.

The 20-year-old midfielder needs to join a club where he will get regular opportunities. Sitting on the bench at a big club will not benefit him at this stage of his career. He needs to choose his next destination carefully. It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds over the next few weeks. Whoever ends up signing Nico Paz could have a future star on their hands.
