Tottenham Hotspur have decided against loaning out Mikey Moore and are instead focused on tying him down to a new long-term contract.
According to a report from TBR, Tottenham Hotspur have big plans for Mikey Moore moving forward. The North London club have no intentions of sending him out on loan next season and are currently working hard to secure his long-term future with a new and improved deal.
Moore has come up the ranks at Tottenham. He has gone up the ranks at some pace and got promoted to their first team last summer. In total, he has featured in 21 first-team fixtures, 19 of which came in the 2024/25 campaign and he even contributed towards three goals.
Moore played a part in their Europa League triumph. He racked up 307 minutes of first-team action in the European competitions and even contributed towards two goals. While the 17-year-old only had limited game time in his debut campaign, he is quite highly rated by those at Hotspur Way.
Spurs have no plans to send Moore out on loan
They consider him an integral part of their future plans and want him to continue at the club at all costs. His impressive rise has caught the attention of quite a few clubs but as things stand Spurs have no desire of sending him out on loan.
They want him to continue in their first team even though they have yet to make a decision on the future of their manager Ange Postecoglou. Moore’s future might depend on who is at the hot seat next season but for now, they are planning to have him around.
While he still has two years left on his current deal, Spurs are already working on a new contract. They want to secure his long-term future and have already held talks with his camp about a possible renewal.
The North London club fully expect a long-term deal to be in place for their academy graduate by the time he turns 18. He is due to turn 18 in August, as a result, negotiations are expected to continue over the course of the summer to ensure his continuity at the club in the long run.
