Ligue 1 giants PSG are looking to raid Tottenham Hotspur for the services of their defensive sensation Radu Dragusin.
According to a report from Fichajes, PSG are interested in acquiring the services of Radu Dragusin, and they are considering making a €50 million bid to prise him away from Tottenham. While Spurs have no intentions of letting him leave, the French champions are quite serious about their pursuit.
Dragusin came up the ranks at Juventus, but he parted ways with the Serie A giants in search of regular first-team action. After making a name for himself while playing for Genoa, he secured a move to Tottenham at the start of 2024.
The first six months at the North London club were not really easy for the 22-year-old centre-back, but he has managed to establish himself as a key figure in the team. The Romanian international has featured in 24 matches this season, and he has put in some impressive performances for them at the back.
PSG keen on signing Radu Dragusin
Dragusin’s massive potential, and recent performances have put him on the radar of PSG who are looking to reinforce their backline. The Ligue 1 champions are looking for a young centre-back who can challenge for a place in the starting XI, and Dragusin perfectly fits the bill.
The Ligue 1 outfit are very serious about their pursuit of the Romanian defender, and they are looking to make a €50 million to bring him to Paris. PSG are hoping that their offer could convince Spurs to sell one of their most valuable assets.
Tottenham have no intention of selling
As things stand, Tottenham consider him an integral part of their plans going ahead, and they have no intentions of negotiating his departure. His strong physical presence, ability to anticipate and calmness while playing out from the back are qualities that make him one of the players with the biggest potential at the club.
With Spurs pushing to re-establish themselves as a force in both England as well as Europe, losing a player of this quality won’t really be ideal. Meanwhile, Dragusin is completely focused on doing his best for the North London club.
PSG’s intention to table an offer worth €50 million suggests they are very serious about signing the 22-year-old, and they will be hoping a formal interest from their end could tempt the player as they can offer him the opportunity to play a part in helping them win their maiden UEFA Champions League title.
