Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle United keen on Brahim Diaz

Arsenal could compete with fellow Premier League sides, such as Tottenham and Newcastle United, for Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz.

According to TBR, Brahim Diaz has some big suitors from the Premier League ahead of the January window. The 25-year-old Real Madrid ace will have to decide on his future, as a lack of minutes at the Bernabeu has alerted the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle United ahead of January.

Brahim Diaz has had a strange career since leaving Manchester City for Real Madrid. Seen as the future of the Real Madrid midfield then, the 25-year-old went on to spend three seasons with AC Milan on loan, and upon his return to the Bernabeu, he was a key member of Carlo Ancelotti’s side last season.

Diaz’s minutes have dried up this season as Ancelotti has not played an out-and-out attacking midfielder in his system this season. The Morocco international has been a consistent feature off the bench whenever he was fit; it’s not considered enough by the 25-year-old Real Madrid ace, as he could start thinking about his immediate future.

Amid links to AC Milan, Madrid have decided Diaz is not for sale and might stick with the stance for the foreseeable future. Yet, the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle United are all interested in signing the 25-year-old Real Madrid ace.

The Gunners are keen on Arda Guler, although the Turkish international might only leave the Bernabeu on loan. Hence, with Diaz, the idea here is to make a bid to sign the playmaker on a permanent basis. Tottenham tried during the summer, with reports stating that Diaz rejected the idea. Newcastle United are also in the market to bring exciting players that drastically improve their current squad.

Will Brahim Diaz leave Real Madrid in January?

The current stance from Real Madrid states they are not remotely interested in letting Diaz leave. Ancelotti considers the player key, and the report states the Italian has also informed the attacking midfielder he will continue to count on his presence.

After starting only twice in La Liga this season, Diaz has come to worry about his future at the club and finds himself in a similar situation to Arda Guler. Hence, should the player think of a new challenge, Premier League clubs will be ready to pounce, although any movement will depend on Madrid changing their current stance on the 25-year-old.
