While they will be looking at the winter window as an opportunity to reinforce their first-team squad, the Hammers are also looking to add a few young stars to their ranks.
The Irons are always on the lookout for young stars who can help them in the long run, and they have identified two 16-year-old midfielders who could do wonders for them in the future. According to a report from The Sun, West Ham are interested in signing twin sensations Cole and Dylan Williams.
The teenage duo are currently playing for the Under-18s of Airdrieonians, and they are considered huge prospects. The twins’ impressive rise and their huge potential have attracted a lot of attention from across Europe.
While they are currently a part of Airdrie youth setup, they could soon part ways with the Diamonds as they are on a short-term agreement there. Neither of them has featured for the Scottish club’s first team, but they are still on the wishlist of quite a few top clubs.
The Williams twins could be heading to England
Both Cole and Dylan William recently starred at the youth level against Celtic, who are keen re-signing the duo who were once a part of their setup. But the Scottish giants will struggle to sign the duo as there is serious interest in his services from the Premier League.
West Ham United and Southampton are two clubs keen on signing the twins, and they want to snatch them from under Celtic’s nose. The Hammers are quite serious about having the midfield duo in their team. They feel the twins could soon break into the first team and that they could do wonders for them in the long run.
