Juventus are set to demand a significant fee close to €60-70 million to sell Aston Villa target Kenan Yildiz ahead of the January transfer window.
According to Juve Live, Aston Villa could be handed a €60-70 million price tag to land Kenan Yildiz. Juventus are reportedly exploring the possibility of a sale and will be open to ideas if they can get a big price point ahead of the January transfer window.
Juventus have found their mojo in a new way under new manager Thiago Motta. His arrival has revitalised the squad and many players in particular. One of those is Kenan Yildiz, who is thriving in the new system and playing a different role than he was given under Massimiliano Allegri last season.
Yildiz, 19, is also an established Turkish international with 16 caps to his name. He is also at Juventus, where he is one of the first names on Motta’s teamsheet. Unlike a few Bianconeri stars, the 19-year-old attacking sensation is not untouchable, as the Serie A giants could potentially use him to bolster their transfer strategy.
Aston Villa have shown interest in the Turkish international lately, with director Monchi working to bring Yildiz to the club. The idea here is to bolster their attacking unit ahead of the second half of the season to give Unai Emery a better chance at progressing.
Aston Villa are looking at other attacking alternatives, such as Barcelona’s Ferran Torres. Given that Juventus are open to negotiations, the Binaconeri will reportedly demand a fee close to €60-70 million for Yildiz, meaning someone like Torres would be considerably cheaper.
Will Aston Villa pay Yildiz’s price?
Juventus, for their part, are open to the sale of Yildiz, and should they receive the reported €60-70 million asking price, it will be registered as pure profit. The 19-year-old sensation has a long and promising future ahead, meaning clubs like Aston Villa or even others who might be interested will see this fee as a big investment for the future.
Hence, Aston Villa may not be too opposed to paying what is necessary to bring the Juventus star on board. Currently, their atmosphere and Emery’s management will allow the Turkish international to thrive at Villa Park, although any movement will depend on Yildiz, as he seems presently settled well in Turin.
