Arsenal are looking to reinforce their backline and they are interested in the services of Girona full-back Miguel Gutierrez.
According to a report from TBR, Arsenal are interested in the services of Miguel Gutierrez who has been doing wonders for Girona of late. The Spanish international has been a consistent performer for the Spanish outfit and he could soon make the move to a bigger club.
Gutierrez came up the ranks at Real Madrid’s famous youth academy. While he did get promoted to their first team in the summer of 2022, there was no place for the 23-year-old full-back in their team. As a result, Los Blancos ended up selling him to Girona just months after his promotion to the senior side.
The Spanish full-back hasn’t looked back since joining Girona. He has only gone from strength to strength and played a big part in their dominant run last season. Gutierrez helped them finish inside the top four of La Liga and secure a spot in the Champions League.
There was no shortage of interest in the left-back services during the summer but he ended up staying at the club. However, he could be on his way out to a bigger club in 2025 and Arsenal have presented themselves as a potential destination.

The arrival of Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber’s return to full fitness has pushed Jakub Kiwior way down the pecking order. He is unlikely to get enough game time at the North London club. As a result, the 24-year-old has been considering parting ways with Arsenal and he could be on his way out in 2025.
The North London club are looking for a potential replacement and they have their eyes on Girona’s Miguel Gutierrez. They have been scouting him for some time now and he could be a quality addition to their squad that doesn’t have a traditional left-sided full-back in their team.
With Kieran Tierney and Oleksandr Zinchenko’s future uncertain, he could be an ideal signing for the Gunners. Gutierrez has done well for both club and country and he seems to have a bright future ahead.
