The Denmark international has started the season well scoring twice in five league games this season. He produced 34 goal contributions last season as well.
There is no doubt that he could prove to be a quality long-term acquisition from Arsenal, and it remains to be seen whether they can get the deal done. The winger is reportedly valued at around €25-30 million, and it is fair to assume that a club with Arsenal’s resources should be able to afford him without any problems.
Arsenal need more quality and depth in their attack. They have not been able to rotate players like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka due to the lack of depth in the squad. Signing another quality winger could prove to be a wise decision.
The 24-year-old has been likened to the Liverpool star Mohamed Salah because of stylistic similarities, and any club signing him will hope that he can develop into a player as good as the Egyptian international. Arsenal will be hoping to win major trophies on a consistent basis, and they need top quality players at their disposal. Signing a dynamic attacker should be one of their priorities.
Tottenham keen on signing Skov Olsen
Andreas Skov Olsen has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur as well. However, the North London club are already well-stocked in the wide areas. So, it would be quite surprising if they decide to make a move for another winger in the near future.
It is fair to assume that Arsenal could have a free run at the winger if they are truly keen on securing his signature. The €25-30 million asking price is quite affordable as well, and the Gunners should look to wrap up his signing before the window closes.
