Leicester City have agreed on a deal with Tottenham for an excess of £20 million for midfielder and homegrown player Oliver Skipp.
According to The Athletic, Tottenham have agreed to sell Oliver Skipp to Leicester City. The newly promoted side has been keen on strengthening their midfielder since returning to the top flight and could acquire the Spurs homegrown player for a fee in excess of £20 million.

Leicester City are preparing for life back in the Premier League after a successful season in the Championship and lifting the second-tier title. Newly promoted sides often find it tough on their return to the top flight, and in the Foxes’ case, they have already lost some of their key stars in the process.
The departure of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea prompted the Foxes to look for a midfielder, and they held an interest in Oliver Skipp. The Spurs man is not a sure starter under Ange Postecoglou, but he proved to be a handy option, making 24 appearances in all competitions last season.
Despite reports that Skipp was ready to sign a new deal, the club has decided to sell him, and Leicester City have got their man. The two clubs have agreed on a deal in excess of £20 million, as the midfielder was set to undergo his medical tests on Sunday, which at the time of writing might have concluded.
He will sign a long-term deal with the Foxes and reunite with former Spurs midfielder and homegrown player Harry Winks. Steve Cooper will hope to get the most out of Skipp’s talents to help with the season, with the aim of bringing someone with Premier League experience who would keep them in the top flight for a long time.
Tottenham’s transfer business so far
Tottenham had ideas of bringing many quality players into the squad and offloading a few who were not required. They had thought about selling Skipp, who now joins Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on the outgoings list after the Danish star joined Marseille.
They have brought in exciting talents Archie Gray and Wilson Odobert while breaking their club record to sign Dominic Solanke. There could be more incomings before the window shuts, with Vanderson a target for Spurs. They could also angle a move for a new centre-half.
