Manchester United will have to fork out around €35-€40 million to sign Fenerbahce full-back Ferdi Kadioglu.
According to a report from Fichajes, Manchester United are interested in the services of Ferdi Kadioglu as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season. The Red Devils are looking to bring in young players who can help them in the long run and the Fenerbahce star has caught their eye following an impressive Euro 2024 campaign.
He played every minute of Turkiye’s campaign as they managed to get into the last eight where they lost to the Netherlands. Kadioglu was one of their standout performers. Not only was he a rock at the back, but he even showcased his abilities in the final third of the pitch.
The 24-year-old has had an exceptional rise at the Turkish club. While he still has two years left on his deal with Fenerbahce, he could be on the move this summer given the amount of interest in his services. His performances at the European Championship have put him on the radar of some of the biggest clubs and they could come calling soon.
United will have to pay €35-40 million for Kadioglu
Manchester United are one of the clubs that want to sign the young full-back. The Red Devils are looking for players with potential, players who can feature in multiple roles and help add more quality to their squad. Kadioglu could be an exceptional signing for them thanks to his versatility as well as his abilities.
The Dutch-born Turkiye international prefers playing as a left-back but he can also feature as a left-back. Not only that, he can feature in any role of either flank and has even played in the centre of the park when needed.
Luke Shaw’s injury history hasn’t been that great, as a result, the Turkiye defender could be an ideal cover for him. Not only will add depth to the left-back slot, but he will also give Erik ten Hag the ultimate luxury of having a player who can feature almost anywhere.
Manchester United are considering making a move for the 24-year-old after having followed him at the Euro. They feel he could be a great addition to their squad and have been made aware of what a potential transfer could cost with Fenerbahce looking for a fee between €35 and €40 million.
