Juventus would prefer a loan-to-buy deal for Jadon Sancho

Juventus would prefer to make a loan-to-buy deal for Jadon Sancho this summer after colling interest in teammate Mason Greenwood.

According to The Sun, Juventus would prefer to sign Jadon Sancho only on a loan deal, with a buy option likely to be considered. The winger has no place under Erik ten Hag, especially now that the Dutchman is set for a stay, and as the Bianconeri progress with their interest, they have cooled their stance on his teammate Mason Greenwood.

Juventus plot loan-to-buy deal for Jadon Sancho

Juventus are intent on bringing a wide attacker into their ranks this summer and may have wanted Mason Greenwood as their priority. Fans’ backlash and the overall reputation of the Manchester United forward have caused problems behind the scenes, as the Bianconeri have cooled their interest in the forward

They may not have to look too far beyond, as JJuventus are already considered front runners to sign Jadon Sancho. The winger, who left Borussia Dortmund after a productive six-month loan, has already seen his chances of a return to BVB thrown in doubt, first due to Manchester Untied’s £40 million asking price and second due to Edin Terzic’s exit from the Westfalenstadion.

Juventus are ready to make a compelling offer for the winger in terms of the project but has not yet been prepared to sign him on a permanent basis. They are eager for the Red Devils to continue paying a chunk of the winger’s high wages and could potentially prefer a loan-to-buy sort of agreement.

Whether Manchester United will agree to another loan remains to be seen, although, with a general lack of interest in the winger, that might be one of the options to consider. As for Juventus, they are anticipating a key departure in the form of Federico Chiesa and might see Sancho as the perfect fit to replace the Italian international.

Manchester United might prefer a sale

Manchester United do not come into this summer window with a huge transfer budget. In fact, many reports have suggested they have given Erik ten Hag a modest sum to operate with and are encouraging sales to bolster that sum.

Hence, a high-value player like Sancho would fetch a considerable sum and help Ten Hag boost his transfer budget. So, Manchester United might be eager to sell Sancho rather than send him out on another loan. However, should Juventus guarantee a proper sum for next summer, they might sanction another temporary deal for the winger.
