Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur are all keen on having Turkish attacking sensation Semih Kilicsoy in their squad.
According to a report from Aksam, Semih Kilicsoy’s impressive rise at Besiktas has resulted in a lot of interest from across Europe. English giants Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham are all interested in signing him and will make a move after the end of the Euro 2024.
Kilicsoy has come up the ranks at the Turkish club. He was promoted to their first team last summer and in his first full season with the senior side, the teenage striker has made quite a name for himself with impressive performances.
The youngster was involved in 35 matches and ended up contributing towards 15 goals (12 goals, 3 assists) in just over 2,000 minutes of first-team football. On the back of his exceptional debut season, multiple top clubs are expected to knock on Besiktas’s door.
Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham pushing for Kilicsoy
There is a high possibility of Semih Kilicsoy making the move to the Premier League in the summer, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham keen on his signature. The three Premier League clubs are ready to launch the offensive to sign the youngster this summer.
The Gunners want a top-quality number nine who can lead their attack. While Mikel Arteta’s team will surely go in for a more established striker, they are also interested in having the versatile teenager in their squad.
Meanwhile, Manchester United want someone who can support Rasmus Hojlund up top. The new part-owner prefers signing young players with huge potential rather than breaking the bank for a star player. As a result, Kilicsoy seems to be an ideal candidate for them.
Even Tottenham want more firepower up top. They are looking for a proven goalscorer but would welcome the incorporation of Semih Kilicsoy as he can be a long-term replacement for Harry Kane who left for Bayern Munich last summer.
Besiktas want a minimum of €25 million
All three clubs are expected to meet Beiktas after the end of the Euro 2024 to negotiate a potential transfer. While he still has four years left on his deal with the Turkish club, Besiktas are aware of the fact that they will find it difficult to keep hold of their teenage star amidst interest from some of the biggest English clubs.
They are willing to sanction his departure but are looking for a minimum of €25 million. Meanwhile, the 18-year-old striker is focused on doing his best for his country at the Euro and will only make a decision regarding his future after the end of the tournament.
