Tottenham Hotspur keen on Willian Pacho

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in acquiring the services of 22-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt defensive sensation Willian Pacho.

According to Sacha Tavolieri, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on having Willian Pacho in their ranks. The 22-year-old centre-back has made quite a name for himself thanks to his impressive performances for the Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. Top clubs from across Europe and keeping a close eye on him.

Pacho joined the German club before the start of the ongoing season from Royal Antwerp. Since joining Frankfurt, he has featured in a total of 28 matches and has established himself as one of the mainstays of the club.

His impressive performances haven’t gone unnoticed. Big clubs from different parts of Europe are keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old Ecuador international. While he still has well over four years left on his deal with the German club, a departure in the summer could be on the cards given the amount of interest from elsewhere.

There is a lot of interest in him from Tottenham Hotspur in particular. Ange Postecoglou has done wonders since taking charge. At the initial stage, Spurs were at the top of the table flying high but injuries and lack of depth have hampered their progress.

As a result, the north London club are expected to address the Australian manager’s requests in the summer. They will look to add a lot more quality to their squad and the focus could be on defence. Pacho is a player that everyone at the clubs thinks highly of, they feel he could be a great investment for the future.

The 22-year-old centre-back has proved himself in the German top flight. Meanwhile, Spurs feel they have seen enough to come to the conclusion that he could be of great use. The north London club recently enquired about the player and have scouted him on multiple occasions already.

They will look for a new defender in the summer on a priority basis and Pacho is a priority target for them. While Spurs have started making moves, there could be other clubs from the Premier League willing to fight for the young Ecuador defender.
