Manchester United hold talks with the agents of the 24-year-old West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice who is on the radar of Arsenal.

According to Claret and Hugh, Manchester United have held talks with the agents of Declan Rice. The 24-year-old West Ham United midfielder is expected to make a move to a bigger club in the summer and there are quite a few clubs keen on having him in their ranks.

The England international has come up the rank at the club and established himself as one of their most important players. The 24-year-old midfielder has featured in 244 matches for the Hammers and has been involved in 28 goals.

The West Ham skipper has gone from strength to strength over the past few seasons. And, a move to a bigger club has been around the corner for a while now. It seems the time has come for the England international to take the next step in his career.

Rice’s father Sean is his agent at this point in time and he is among the busiest in England. The 24-year-old is a highly sought-after player and Sean will have to handle offers from quite a few clubs as they look for Rice’s next club. It is believed that Arsenal are best placed in the race for his signatures. The Gunners have been keen on having Rice in their ranks for a while now.

Arteta wants to add another midfielder to his ranks ahead of next season. And, he is expected to go all out for the signatures of the 24-year-old. However, the £85 million offer that they are ready to put forward won’t be enough.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have also held talks with Sean. They have managed to secure Champions League football for next season and now want to strengthen their squad to push for important titles next season.

Erik ten Hag is keen on adding a central midfielder who can help him dictate the pace of the game. And, the arrival of Rice will surely help his cause. The 24-year-old could form a great partnership with Casemiro in the centre of the park. With Manchester United and Arsenal both keen on having the England international at their disposal, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
