Newcastle United open talks to sign Dominik Szoboszlai

Newcastle United are keen on signing Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig this summer.

According to a report from Football Insider, Newcastle have now opened talks with RB Leipzig regarding a summer transfer for the 22-year-old Hungarian midfielder. Szoboszlai has a release clause in his contract of around €70 million and it will be interesting to see if Newcastle are prepared to pay big money for him this summer.

The Hungarian midfielder has been a key player for RB Leipzig this season and he has 9 goals and 13 assists to his name across all competitions. He could improve Newcastle in the final third and the Magpies would do well to secure his services.

Newcastle have drawn quite a few league matches this season and they will need to improve their attacking options in order to turn these draws into wins. The Magpies ended up drawing 14 games in the league this past season.
