Lautaro Martinez has been linked with a summer move away from Inter Milan, with Arsenal, Manchester United, and Real Madrid interested.
Lautaro Martinez is reportedly a target for Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid. A report from Football Insider claims that Inter Milan are now prepared to sell the Argentine international for a fee of around £70 million.
Arsenal need to add more attacking depth to their squad, and they were lacking in options earlier this season when Gabriel Jesus was injured. Signing Lautaro Martinez will give them more options to work with.
The Argentine is one of the best strikers in Europe and he could prove to be a solid addition to Mikel Arteta’s attack. Apart from being a goalscorer, Martinez will help create chances for his teammates with his impressive link-up play and passing ability in the final third.
Martinez has 21 goals across all competitions this season, and he is young enough to improve further with coaching and experience. So Arsenal’s interest in the Argentine striker makes a world of sense.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been overly dependent on Marcus Rashford this season. And the England international has had to carry the goalscoring burden all by himself. He is more suited to the role of a left-sided winger. So the Red Devils need to sign a quality number nine who can lead their attack next season.
Martinez seems like the ideal fit for Erik ten Hag’s style of play. The 25-year-old has playmaking qualities and he can press the opposition. He could form a lethal partnership with Rashford next season.
Finally, Real Madrid are keen on the player as well. Los Blancos need to find a quality long-term alternative to Karim Benzema, and the Argentine seems like a quality option. The French international striker is entering his twilight years. So Real Madrid must look to start planning for the future now.

Martínez is likely to be tempted to join a club like Real Madrid, and the reported £70 million asking price should be affordable for all three clubs. Inter Milan are going through financial difficulties and it is no surprise that they are willing to sell their star striker for the right price. It will be interesting to see where he ends up this summer.
