Liverpool are reportedly interested in 19-year-old Bristol City midfield prodigy Alex Scott at the end of the season.
Alex Scott is thought to be on the radar of clubs like West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers as well. A report from Daily Mail claims that Liverpool will look to make a move for the 19-year-old when the transfer window opens in the summer.
Apparently, Liverpool have been keeping tabs on the talented young midfielder for a while now. In addition, Liverpool’s head of recruitment Dave Fallows and chief scout Barry Hunter scouted the player in action last month.
Scott can play as a central midfielder as well as an attacking midfielder. He could develop into a complete midfielder with coaching and experience. Working with a top-class coach like Jurgen Klopp could help the talented youngster fulfil his immense potential.
The opportunity to join a club like Liverpool is likely to be more attractive compared to West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers. The player has been linked with Newcastle United and Tottenham as well. Although Liverpool are unlikely to play in the Champions League next season, they are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and Scott will be attracted to the idea of playing for them.
