Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus at the end of the season.
A report from Defensa Central claims that Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Brazilian attacker Gabriel Jesus, who has a €75 million market value.
Jesus has been an impressive signing for Arsenal, and the Gunners have missed him during his injury layoff. The 25-year-old is a proven performer in the Premier League, and he has helped Manchester City win multiple trophies in the past as well.
Apparently, Real Madrid are looking to bring in someone who can share the goalscoring burden with Karim Benzema. The Frenchman is in the twilight stages of his career, and Carlo Ancelotti needs to add more depth to his attack. Jesus would be an excellent acquisition for the capital club. But it remains to be seen whether Arsenal are prepared to part with him.
The Gunners signed him at the start of the campaign, and he has a long-term contract with them. The north London club are under no pressure to cash in on him. So Real Madrid might have to pay well over the odds in order to convince them.
Although Jesus is not a prolific footballer who can operate anywhere across the front three and he will add flair, creativity, pace and goals to the attack. The Brazilian’s overall footballing intelligence makes him the ideal alternative to Karim Benzema who is more than just a goalscorer.
The opportunity to play for Real Madrid is likely to be an attractive proposition for any footballer and Jesus could have his head turned by their interest as well. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few weeks. With a market value of €75 million, a nine-figure asking price might be on the cards.

Arsenal will be hoping to keep him at the club for as long as possible after his impressive start to life at north London. The Gunners are well-placed to win the Premier League title this season. And they will be in a position to convince key players to stay at the club if they manage to win the league title. Furthermore, they will return to the Champions League next season. And that certainly gives them more pull when it comes to convincing the top players.
