Crystal Palace, Everton, and West Ham United are reportedly keen on signing talented young striker El Bilal Toure from Ligue 1 club Reims.
According to a report from 90 min, Crystal Palace, Everton, and West Ham United are targeting a late move for 20-year-old striker El Bilal Toure in order to reinforce their attacking department.
The 20-year-old has caught the attention of the top clubs with his performances for Ligue 1 club Reims, and it will be interesting to see if he can secure a move to the Premier League before the summer transfer window slams shut.
Toure is versatile enough to play anywhere across the front three, and he could be a useful squad player for all of Crystal Palace, Everton, and West Ham United this season.
It is no secret that Everton to add more depth to their attacking unit following the departure of Richarlison, and the young Malian could be a useful option for Frank Lampard. Furthermore, Anthony Gordon has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer, and the Toffees will need someone like Toure, if the 21-year-old decides to move on.
Meanwhile, Patrick Vieira could use some depth in his front three at Crystal Palace as well, and Toure could be a handy option for the Eagles. West Ham have the likes of Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca at their disposal, but it seems like they are looking to add more depth to the position as well.
The 20-year-old striker is immensely talented, but he needs to choose his next destination carefully. Toure needs to join a club where he can play regular first-team football, and the chances at Crystal Palace and West Ham are likely to be limited. A move to Everton should be more appealing to the youngster because of the first-team opportunities on offer.
Anthony Gordon is currently the only guaranteed starter for the Toffees, especially with Dominic Calvert-Lewin struggling with injury issues. Everton have brought in Neal Maupay from Brighton & Hove Albion to add more cutting edge in the final third. But Toure is likely to get plenty of opportunities at the Merseyside club if he can adapt to the Premier League.
The report from 90 min adds that Ligue 1 outfit Reims are prepared to sell the player for a fee of around £10 million, and the reported asking price should be quite affordable for Crystal Palace, Everton, and West Ham. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops now.
