Everton are targetting a move for 26-year-old Wolves striker Hwang Hee-Chan if they fail in the pursuit of Ben Brereton-Diaz.
According to The Sun, Hwang Hee-Chan has emerged on Everton’s shortlist of forwards as they could make a late approach to sign the South Korean. The 26-year-old Wolves striker’s move may be contingent on failing to sign Blackburn’s Ben Brereton-Diaz.
Everton are desperate to improve their forward line before the transfer window shuts. The Toffees have been depleted of options during the summer after losing Richarlison to Tottenham. Additionally, the severe injury to Dominic Calvert-Lewin has left them short in front areas.
Chelsea’s pursuit of Anthony Gordon has coupled the pressure on Frank Lampard to improve attacking areas, with the manager keen to bring new faces before the deadline. A few names are being discussed at Goodison Park, although the surety of acquiring those targets remains in question.
