Fulham are reportedly set to complete a deal for Manor Solomon, who is expected to undergo his medical in London.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manor Solomon has been slated to complete his medical, ahead of a move to Fulham. The 22-year-old attacker is currently in London, undergoing tests after agreeing personal terms with the newly-promoted Premier League outfit over a move to Craven Cottage.
A native of Israel, Solomon has been plying his trade for Shakhtar Donetsk since the summer of 2019. He has enjoyed a fruitful spell in Ukraine as well, being involved in 31 goals in just over 100 competitive appearances. However, his progress was halted earlier in the year, as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine put a stop to Ukrainian football.
Although Solomon had the opportunity to leave Shakhtar Donetsk during the special transfer window, a move did not materialise. But with the summer transfer window finally upon us, the explosive winger is set to depart Ukraine, in favour of a move to England, with Fulham emerging as his next destination.
After securing the Championship title this past season, the Cottagers are determined to put a stop to their Premier League woes by remaining in the top-flight next season. As such, Fulham have appeared quite ambitious in the market, having already roped in Joao Palhinha from Sporting CP.

While the Portuguese international should significantly improve the ranks in the middle of the park, coach Marco Silva also wants to shore up his options in the attacking unit by capturing Manor Solomon. The Israel international offers pace and tricky out wide, whilst providing productivity in the final third.
The 22-year-old could thus prove to be an excellent replacement for Fabio Carvalho after the Fulham prodigy joined Liverpool earlier in the summer. Solomon is expected to join Fulham on a year-long loan deal, but with his contract at Shakhtar expiring in 2023, they might be able to sign him up on a free transfer next summer. It could ultimately prove to be a bargain for the Cottagers.
Along with Solomon, the Premier League new boys are expected to bring in Manchester United outcast Andreas Pereira as well, having recently reached full agreement to sign the midfielder.
