Premier League giants Liverpool have reportedly made an official approach for Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick, a target for Barcelona and Real Madrid.
According to Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola on his YouTube channel, Liverpool have approached Brazilian club Palmeiras to explore the possibility of signing their 15-year-old centre-forward Endrick, a target for Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The Reds were first linked with the player in January this year, but the reports died down only to resurface recently. The Reds are long-term admirers of the Brazilian wonderkid, who is set to turn 16 next month. But Liverpool are not expected to make a bid this summer, with Barcelona and Real Madrid also waiting in the wings.
Nicola revealed that Liverpool have only made an official enquiry, but ‘didn’t go further’ than that. “Liverpool have sounded out the possibility of making a proposal in the future. But didn’t go further, for now, than a poll,” he said.
Liverpool are not the only club showing interest in the teenage prodigy, however, with several other European bigwigs closely monitoring his progress. Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid are all said to be keeping tabs on Endrick.

Endrick turns 16 on July 21, following which he would sign his first professional contract with Palmeiras. As per Nicola, the young forward will have a €40 million release clause in his first season with the Brazilian side, which will increase to €50 million and €60 million in the following years.
The Reds consider Endrick one for the future, but Barcelona, Real Madrid and others are considered front-runners for his signature. This means that Liverpool will need to act quickly to stand a chance of signing the Brazilian starlet.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have already completed three signings this summer as they prepare for another season of trophy contention. Right-back Calvin Ramsay has arrived from Aberdeen, while Fulham’s 19-year-old attacker Fabio Carvalho has joined them as well.
The Reds’ marquee signing has been Darwin Nunez from Benfica. The 23-year-old Uruguayan forward has signed for them in a €75 million move after a stellar season for the Portuguese side, scoring 34 goals in 41 appearances for them and four assists.
