Eden Hazard is in contention to feature while Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior will be rested when Real Madrid take on Cadiz in La Liga.
Real Madrid will look to build on their 6-0 thrashing of Levante when they take on relegation battlers Cadiz at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla on Saturday night in La Liga.
Heading up to the game, Real Madrid have been handed a boost on the team news front as Eden Hazard, Dani Carvajal, and Dani Ceballos are back in contention after recovering from their fitness issues. However, David Alaba, Marcelo, Luka Jovic and Gareth Bale are unavailable for selection, while Luka Modric misses out due to suspension.

In addition to that, manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that he will be resting three of his key players in Thibaut Courtois, Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior.
Speaking in his pre-match presser, the Real Madrid boss said: “I’m giving him [Benzema] a rest because he’s earned it, I’ll be resting Courtois and Vini Jr., tomorrow as well, they deserve it. They’ll be back on Tuesday to prepare for the next game. Carvajal, Ceballos and Hazard will be back and next week I’ll have everyone available.”
With Courtois not involved, Andriy Lunin should start in goal for Real Madrid against Cadiz. He will be shielded by the centre-back pairing of Jesus Vallejo and Nacho Fernandez, while the returning Carvajal slots in at right-back. There is no looking past Ferland Mendy at left-back, with Marcelo unavailable for selection.
Moving into the middle of the park, there is likely to be just one change, with Toni Kroos coming in to replace the suspended Modric. Eduardo Camavinga should start at the base of the midfield ahead of Casemiro, who could do with the rest. And Federico Valverde should hold on to his spot in the third slot in the centre of the park, although Dani Ceballos could also be an option.
As for the attacking unit, despite Hazard’s return, he is unlikely to feature from the get-go on Sunday but could get some minutes off the bench. With Benzema rested and Jovic out with injury, Mariano Diaz becomes an automatic pick in the centre-forward slot. And with Vinicius Junior also being rested, Rodrygo Goes and Marco Asensio should get the nod in the wide areas.
Real Madrid Predicted XI: Lunin, Carvajal, Vallejo, Nacho, Mendy, Valverde, Camavinga, Kroos, Rodrygo, Mariano, Asensio.
