According to Mondo Napoli, Manchester United are facing a battle to keep hold of Martin Svidersky. The young midfielder has grabbed a lot of attention due to his rapid ascension in the youth team, with Napoli and Atalanta interested in his services.
Svidersky joined Manchester United academy back in 2018. But his contract is expiring soon, prompting major clubs, including West Ham United, to remain attentive to his situation. David Moyes is hoping to snap up the youngster, should the opportunity arise.
A native of Slovakia, Svidersky is a defensive midfielder by trade. During his time with the Manchester United academy, the youngster has impressed with his positioning sense and the ability to read the game. He notably starred for Manchester United’s Under-18 squad last season, leading to his promotion to the reserve side this year.
It has not taken Svidersky a while to settle in, with the youngster already establishing himself as a vital part of the Under-23 side. The Slovakian youth sensation’s rapid rise to prominence, coupled with his contract situation, has now put West Ham on red alert as the club prepares for a future without Declan Rice.
