Liverpool Confirmed Lineup vs Burnley: Lallana in for Henderson; Firmino returns

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made two changes to the side that was held for a draw by Everton last weekend, for the home against Burnley.

Liverpool have recalled Roberto Firmino to the starting lineup, as they gear up to take on Sean Dyche’s Burnley at Anfield on Sunday. The Brazilian did not start in the Merseyside derby last weekend, but comes into the team in place of Divock Origi. That is the solitary change in attack made by Jurgen Klopp, with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah holding on to their spots.

There are no tweaks in defence for Liverpool, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson all set to feature from the kick-off once again. Dejan Lovren makes it to the bench, having recovered from his injury.

Adam Lallana is handed a rare start in the middle of the park for the Merseyside outfit against the Clarets. The England international replaces club captain Jordan Henderson, who drops out to the bench. Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum retain their spots in the starting lineup.
