Arsenal managed to overcome West Brom at the Emirates on Monday night to get three important points thanks to a brace from Alexandre Lacazette.
Arsenal entered the field on the back of a battling 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge followed by a narrow win in the Carabao Cup. The pressure was on the Gunners to get back to winning ways in the Premier League. And on Monday night, Arsene Wenger’s men did just that.
Alexandre Lacazette latched onto a rebound to open the scoring while the Frenchman also converted a second-half penalty – a decision that left West Brom players and fans infuriated – to hand the Gunners a 2-0 win.
Fans were pleased with Lacazette, who has continued the trend of the mega signings doing well in the Premier League this season so far.
Alexandre Lacazette has now scored 4 goals in 3 Premier League games at the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile there was much to be said about Alexis Sanchez, who Tony Pulis accused of diving in the first half.
Anyone got a video of the Sanchez ‘dive’ pulis was speaking about
— Jonny Singer (@Jonny_Singer) September 25, 2017
Did Sánchez dive, or is Pulis just being Pulis? I honestly don’t remember the incident at all.
— Jason Clogg (@DBCloggy) September 25, 2017
So sanchez goes down easily. If thats not a freekick, surely a dive?
Can see why Pulis is frustrated at that.— Owen Powell (@Owes85) September 25, 2017
I agree with Tony Pulis Alexi Sanchez did dive #MNF

Start the list of weak ref decisions in this match:
1. Sanchez dive free kick 2. No penalty given 3. Shoulder barge 3 yds from ball no foul.— Stephen J Nelson (@stephenjnelson) September 25, 2017
Super dive by Sanchez against West Brom tonite!! (After 5 odd minutes – clear dive on the edge of the 18 yard box))

Amazing that a Sanchez dive is given but not that penalty. Madley is beyond terrible.

Shocking dive by Sanchez
— Chris Allum (@ChrisAllum1) September 25, 2017
What a dive by Sanchez, so if they scored it it’s a 2 game ban ?
