Highly-rated Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara’s agent has spoken about a potential loan move away from Anfield in the summer.
Speaking to ESPN, his agent Bartlomiej Bolek stated that his client is currently on holiday and once he returned, they would take a decision on what the next step of his career would be, whether to stay in Merseyside, train with the first team, play for the U23s or go out on loan.
“We need the time to figure out that, to talk with the club and to find the best way for Kamil,” he said, before adding “We are in touch with the club and I know that he is doing very well in training. Kamil knows that he cannot stop — he must keep moving forward.”
Grabara, who turned 18 in January this year, was purchased from Ekstraklasa side Ruch Chorzow for a paltry fee of £250,000. He has since played 20 games for the Reds’ U23 side and in the U18 Premier League and has earned a glowing reputation at Anfield.

The Reds already have Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius in competing for first team places with Adam Bogdan as third choice. Danny Ward is another highly promising keeper who has recently returned to Liverpool after a successful loan stint at Huddersfield Town.
With Adam Bogdan’s contract running out in a few days and Alexander Manninger officially retired, it remains to be seen whether Klopp insists on bringing in Ward, who played an integral role in helping Huddersfield get promoted to the top flight, and giving him an opportunity.
Both Karius and Mignolet have come under severe criticism this past season for their sub-par performances and with Liverpool set to compete in the Champions League next term, it remains to be seen whether Klopp tries to bring in a top class goalkeeper.
However, it is unlikely that young Grabara will be afforded an opportunity to try and break into the first team at such a young age. A temporary move away from Anfield on loan seems like the best possible step for the youngster to take in his career – possibly in the Championship or a lower league.
