Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi combined to take down Sevilla as Barcelona romped to a 3-0 home win to extend their winning stream at Nou Camp.
Barcelona faced a difficult task on Wednesday, as they hosted Sevilla at Nou Camp. However, Jorge Sampaoli’s team were unable to pose much of a threat as the Catalans achieved a comfortable 3-0 win over fellow title aspirants.
It was Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi who combined, with Suarez scoring one and recording an assist, while Lionel Messi scored a brace as the away side were unable to cope with the duo. And the plaudits for the Uruguayan followed.

However, Messi was the man of the hour, with the Argentine’s brace a telling difference-maker on the day.
Lionel Messi has now scored more goals against Sevilla (29) across all competitions than any other team he has faced.

Sampaoli too got the tough end of the stick, after his Sevilla side has collapsed from being a genuine title contender to fourth on the table and suffered a similar fate against Barcelona.
Sampaoli clean sheet in the second half. Unreal coach!

Let’s be serious, Is Sampaoli one of those guys who’s teams get drained by April like his idol Bielsa???
— Víaan (@Viaanito) April 5, 2017
In recent weeks Sampaoli looks completely lost. So many early changes, either in the first half of at half-time. Running on empty, Sevilla.
