Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson has been bestowed with the honour of captaining England for their World Cup 2018 Qualifier match against Slovenia. Wayne Rooney’s dismal performances for the national side will see him start the game from the bench for the Three Lions.
This will come as good news for Henderson, who has done a fairly decent job in captaining the Reds. His performances this season have made good viewing, and he probably is the ideal man in the stead of the Manchester United skipper.
