Manchester United prepare to face Everton at Old Trafford in the testimonial match for their captain Wayne Rooney.
Manchester United fans prepare to pay tribute to the player that has consistently put in match-winning performances in the last 12 years for the Red Devils. Wayne Rooney captain’s the side in his testimonial, lining up beside Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It will also be a first start in the pre-season for Anthony Martial. The starting lineup has started to take shape as Jose Mourinho tries to find his best eleven before the start of the new season.

Meanwhile, Everton hand John Stones and Romelu Lukaku a start amidst rumours linking the duo to moves away from the club. New Toffees manager Ronald Koeman has chosen a strong lineup for the testimonial, with former United players Darren Gibson and Tom Cleverley named among the substitutes.
