It’s been a summer of defensive transfers as FC Barcelona are on the brink of a third signing in the form of Paris Saint-Germain full-back Lucas Digne.
Barca boss Luis Enrique has aimed at strengthening the shaky back-line that often came under the cosh in the 2015/16 campaign. He started off by bringing back Denis Suarez from Sevilla, and then roped in Samuel Umtiti, who is touted as one of the hottest young prospects in French football. By the looks of things, Enrique has reportedly signed another defender in the form of PSG’s Lucas Digne.
