Ibrahimovic was sold to Barcelona by Inter shortly before winning the treble in 2009. The Swedish star enjoyed working with Mourinho for a year before they were separated. Hence the fans are looking forward to this reunion, which might turn into a recipe for success for Man United.
“I think it’s a great move to bring in Mourinho to Man Utd. If you want to win, you get Mourinho. I have spoken with Mourinho since I left Inter. We have had contact. But not in the last week, no.
“Will we work together again? I don’t know…”
Sky also reports that Manchester United are the only Premier League club that Zlatan will join. The 34 year old made no attempts to conceal that there were other offers in place although he insists that he has made his choice.
“I have several options, with offers from England, Italy and other countries.
“Have I made my choice? I have made my choice, yes. I made my choice long ago.”

Although negotiations are bound be protracted and weary, it is safe to say that Ibrahimovic will finally be playing in the Premier League at the age of 34, having previously played in France, Spain, Italy and Holland. So he can finally cross England off his to-do list when he retires eventually. Milan and Italy, however, remain a distinct possibility.
