Borussia Dortmund were held to a 1-1 draw at home by a Liverpool side which put on a fine display. It was an emotionally charged game, with Jurgen Klopp returning to the Westfalenstadion for the first time since he left, to face the team he help build.
Before the game, both sets of fans combined together to sing the famous song, ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’. It was an emotional affair and one that bought tears to the eyes of many in attendance. The emotion and the atmosphere was not lost to the fans around the world, as they took to social media to try and put into words how they felt about the 81,000 strong stadium erupting into chorus.
Wow.. What an amazing atmosphere! Come on @LFC!! #YNWA #LFC ⚽️?

Though sometimes scary, Simon Mignolet and Sakho were still lauded by their fans for their performance
I have to get this out, for the past 6-7 games, Mignolet has been good. Not making mistakes, catching & making good saves. #LFC #YNWA
