FC Barcelona Team News: Vermaelen Left Out, As Luis Enrique Prepares To Play His 100th Game In-Charge

FC Barcelona manager Luis Enrique will be having a completely fit squad, with Rafinha the only exception, as he prepares to take charge of his 100th game.

The Asturian manager of the Catalan side has now taken charge of the club in 99 games, winning an impressive 78 of them, drawing 11 and losing a meagre 9 ties.

During the period, FC Barcelona have scored a stunning 280 goals, conceding only 72 times.

Rested FC Barcelona ready to go

Having rested a couple of key players in the midweek cup clash against Valencia, whom they demolished 7-0, Luis Enrique has the luxury of calling upon the entire squad except the long term injured Rafinha according to FC Barcelona’s official website.

Signs are ominous for the bottom placed Levante, who have conceded the third highest goal in the league and it will take more than a special effort for them to even get a respectable result against the Catalans, who have now scored 54 goals in 21 La Liga ties and are hoping to consolidate their lead over Atletico Madrid at the top of the table.

Enrique is expected to field a strong line up, with little or no worry about the midweek cup clash second leg against Valencia, given their 7 goal lead.

The 18 man squad for the game is as follows: Bravo, Ter Stegen, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Alves, Arda Turan, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Neymar Jr, Mascherano, Bartra, Munir, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, Aleix Vidal and Mathieu.

Predicted FC Barcelona XI (4-3-3): Bravo; Alves, Mascherano, Pique, Alba; Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta; Suarez, Messi, Neymar
