Serbian defender Nemanja Vidic recently decided to hang up his boots after terminating his contract with Inter Milan, and Manchester United fans and foes stood up to applaud the man who gave Old Trafford his best years at center back.
The 34-year-old spent 8 years at Manchester United, from 2006 to 2014, where he won the UEFA Champions League, League Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and five Premier League titles.
He is regarded as one of the greatest center-backs in the club’s history and fans took to twitter to pay their respect to the legendary defender upon his retirement from the game. Check out the best tweets below.
