Zlatan Picks A 5-A-Side Team With No Defenders Or Goalkeeper

A lot of popular footballers have picked 5-a-side dream teams in the past and the most recent to join the club was Zlatan Ibrahimovic and he picked a side that only Zlatan could have picked.

When it comes to picking 5-a-side teams, most people make the choice of choosing at least one defensive player and a goalkeeper, but it looks like Zlatan is a fan of the old adage, ‘the best defence is a good offence.’

“I need no defenders, only attackers,” said PSG forward Zlatan Ibrahimovi , as he picked his dream 5-a-side team for UEFA. The team consists of himself, Lionel Messi, Ronaldo de Lima, Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldinho Gaucho. This means that he would expect all of the players to take turns being goalkeepers, except probably himself because Zlatan doesn’t do goalkeeping.

The Mighty Zlatan

After doing UEFA the great honor by putting them on the map with his appearance on their website, Zlatan is now focused on helping PSG achieve their domestic and European ambitions and also has the Euro 2016 to look forward to, with his Swedish team being put in a tough group with World No. 1 Belgium, former champions Italy and a motivated Republic of Ireland team.

Zlatan scored 11 goals in Sweden’s Euro qualifying campaign, behind only Robert Lewandowski, and scored 3 of the 4 goals in the playoffs against rivals Denmark to put Sweden through to the Euro.
