Suarez: Barcelona Will Pressurise Injured Sergio Ramos But Won’t Target His Shoulder

Speaking ahead of the a Clasicoa , Barcelona striker Luis Suarez claimed that while he will put more pressure on Sergio Ramos, he will not target the Real Madrid defendera s injured shoulder. The Uruguayan international also said that he expects Real Madrid to not target Lionel Messia s injury since a wea re all colleaguesa .

Suffering from a series of crucial injuries, both Real Madrid and Barcelona are running against time in order to ensure that their star players are fit for the much anticipated fixture.

Despite their injuries, both Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi are expected to feature in the Clasico. As reported by Marca, Luis Suarez played down such injury concerns as he claimed that he wouldna t target Ramosa shoulder injury.

“I’m not going to target Ramos’s shoulder and I don’t think anyone will target Messi’s knee. We’re all colleagues. Maybe we’ll put a bit more pressure on him, but nothing more than that.”

While no official word is out on the date of their expected return from injury, Lionel Messi is reportedly working hard to be fit in time for the Clasico. According to Luis Suarez, Messi is not assured of a timely return as the final decision will be taken by Luis Enrique and the cluba s medical team.

Along with Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi, big names like Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale are uncertain for the a Clasicoa as yet. Despite Messia s continued absence from the pitch, Barcelona have managed to climb their way to the top of the table due to the heroics of Luis Suarez and Neymar. The Catalan club will have the opportunity to open a 6 point lead over their arch rivals as Real Madrid play host to the first Clasico of the season.
