Arsenal FC’s Spanish right-back Hector Bellerin has had a stellar last year, since breaking into the scene at the Emirates. The 20-year-old has replaced French international Mathieu Debuchy as Arsene Wenger’s first choice.
Last year, when Debuchy suffered first of his many injuries, Calum Chambers was called to cover for the former Newcastle United man, however, once Bellerin controlled his nerves, he was able to make that position his own.
After reaching one million followers across various social media platforms, the FC Barcelona youth product looked back at the tremendous year he has had. During the last year, he has managed to cement his place in Arsene Wenger’s first XI, won the FA Cup and Community Shield and also scored two goals against Aston Villa and Liverpool FC.
The 20-year-old has improved immensely with his defending and is also one of the fastest, if not the fastest in Arsenal FC’s team — a squad which also has Theo Walcott, considered one of the fastest footballers in the world, in their ranks. The Spaniard has also allegedly broken the 40m sprint record at the club and . reports had even suggested that Bellerin managed to clock better in the first 40 meters than Usain Bolt had during his record breaking run in 2009.
