Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is seen expressing his opinion on television these days, having retired a couple of seasons ago. The playmaker turned pundit was heard saying to BT Sports ahead of the United game that a run to the quarter final of the Champions League will be seen as a success at the club.
During his time, Scholes won the Champions League twice and was the runner-up two times as well. However, speaking last night on duty for BT Sports as an expert on their panel, he said that United will do well to reach the last eight of Europe’s premier club competition.
Seems awfully long ago now that United used to be one of the top dogs in Europe.

Paul Scholes’ feels “with a bit of luck” . @ManUtd could go beyond the quarter-finals of the #UCL. Do you agree? http://t.co/cDCa1hd7QZ
