European minnows San Marino took to Twitter to troll English Premier League club Arsenal FC and Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo following their first away goal in over 14 years.

San Marino, who sit at the bottom of Group E, scored their first away goal in over 14 years when Matteo Vitaioli converted a direct free-kick in the 55th minute. The goal sparked crazy celebrations as the San Marino players could not hold their feelings and although they eventually lost the match conceding in the 92nd minute, the celebrations continued even after the game had ended.

San Marino’s official Twitter handle got a bit carried away and mocked Arsenal FC over their failure to win the Champions League.

They said, ‘And in the end we get our goal, in life everything comes around, apart from a Champions League for Arsenal’.

The national team’s Twitter then mocked Cristiano Ronaldo over his barren run. The Real Madrid superstar has failed to open his goal scoring account for club and country this season.

One of their tweets translates to, ‘Cristiano called Vitaioli to teach him to take free-kicks’

Another one reads, a Cristiano Ronaldo phoned the hotel where wea re staying. He wanted us to teach him how to score goals.a

Here are the tweets from San Marino’s official Twitter handle:
