Ex Sampdoria manager Sinisa Mihajlovic, who is tipped to be the successor of Filippo Inzaghi as the AC Milan gaffer spoke about his probable new assignment and termed it as an ‘adventure’.

Though an official announcement is yet to be made, it is being speculated that the Serbian coach is going to be in charge at the Rossoneri.

According to Italian media, Mihajlovic said: a Milan is a stimulating adventure that I could really enjoy.

a The dinner at Arcore was informal and pleasant. At the start of the year I did not expect to be there, but we got to know each other. Ia ve always had respect for them, even when I was on the other side at Inter.

a We ate well and drank even better, but thata s it. Do I feel ready for this? I felt ready last year and two years ago. I always feel ready.a

A few years back Mihajlovic had said that he would never take charge of AC Milan as he was an ex-Inter Milan player. But new opined, a People change. When I was young, I tended to divide us and them, so I needed enemies to motivate me. I learned a lot, understood many things and gained experience.

a Ita s easy to be loved at a club where you played, but an even greater challenge to convince the sceptics. I dona t know what will happen, but ita s only natural Ia ve changed my way of thinking when close to 50 years old.

a Am I the new Coach of Milan? Ita s not up to me. If it was up to me, then Ia d have been the Coach of Milan or some other big club 10 years ago.

a Youa d have to ask the directors about that. Will Milan be built around Italian players? I will reply if I become their Coach, otherwise I dona t have a crystal ball.a

AC Milan officially announced . yesterday that they have decided to part ways with Pippo Inzaghi. Sinisa Mihajlovic helped his side Sampdoria to finish seventh in the Italian Serie A and as a result the club have earned a place in the Europa League in the coming season.
