It was a memorable week for Real Madrid as they reached the semi finals of Champions League at the expense of fierce rivals Atletico Madrid. However, the Los Blancos are trailing FC Barcelona in La Liga, but Carlo Ancelotti believes that the team is rejuvenated after the win over Rojiblancos and ready to replicate their good form in Spain against Celta Vigo today.

Real Madrid, despite playing in the absence of Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Marceo, secured an emphatic win over Atletico on Wednesday. Their focus now shifts to La Liga as they have to make a trip to Vigo.

Celta Vigo has proved as tricky opponents in La Liga this season. They have secured positive results at home against FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid earlier and Carlo Ancelotti has asked his players to not to underestimate their challenge.

a We have to be ready for a very intense and dynamic match. Celta are a good side, they’ve shown that against Atl tico and Barcelona. We will need to be physically strong and impose our game plan,a said Ancelotti in a press conference.

a I still have a few uncertainties and will make the decision about the starting line-up tomorrow, but it won’t be influenced by the Barcelona match.a

Carlo Ancelotti also said that the win over Atletico Madrid has worked as a confidence booster for his players and has brought a new lease of energy into the squad.

a The team are in good form. Reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League was a very important achievement. We have a new lease of energy now and we have a very tough encounter tomorrow against a very good footballing sidea .
