Delhi Dynamos took on FC Goa at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, but by the looks of it, the Delhi crowd was not interested to bare witness to match number 30 of the Indian Super League.
A 60,000 capacity Seater, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium was almost empty as the teams took to the field. Although the Delhi crowd has been much praised for their excellent formations of Mexican Waves, it seemed that this match in particular did not have any interested suitors.
The stadium attendance was expected to be somewhere under the region of five thousand as the the match kicked off.
Being dubbed as the fixture and perhaps as the battle between, Alessandro del Piero and Robert Pires, the Delhi crowd was disinterested as the fans lacked in luster and in stadium attendance.

The major change for the hosts, Delhi Dynamos, was the exclusion of marquee player Alessandro del Piero and the inclusion of Super Sub – Gustavo dos Santos.
This was the lowest crowd attendance that Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium has ever registered in the Super League, and as the scenario stands, Delhi is perhaps too far away from being dubbed as a ‘Footballing City’.
